Building an Aviary is a home of cage bird it a nothing but a big cage with full space with lots of toys, perches, swings, playing area. but think before you setup aviary it not so easy. there are two types of aviary generally people can build for their pet birds. indoor aviary and outdoor aviary indoor option is for tenaments and flats residence and outdoor aviary option is for bunglow and farmhouse owners who have enough outdoor space and garden in their land. the main thing to consider the three seasons summer, winter and monsoon. before you build an aviary. because the pet birds health are affected with this seasons. if its in indoor they are quiet safe. but outdoor aviary also construct to protect them for this three seasons. too much hot temperature, winter cold, and direct monsoon water give so many disease and death to the birds so please keep this in mind first. the bigger space the long life of pet exotic birds. it is also consider parakeet budgerigar aviary is require minimum space than macaw or palm cockatoo, african grey parrots. so also consider the size of the birds and number of birds in one aviary.

some times we can choose the place of the aviary in home entrance side place or main entrance of the house side but you know that birds are need the quite place to live them happy so choose a place of the corner side or your house backyard space is quite peaceful for them. and in house choose the corner place and room where no big sounds, or people close to passing by aviary. build an aviary which is easy for cleaning and maintain of their waste on daily basis and keep watch on them, place the wooden perches instead of plastic and in for nest box or breeding box if you are living in the cold weather countries so use wooden nest / breeding boxes, and in hot weather countries like india, bangladesh, UAE, South Africa then use the Clay pots are best for keep the cool temperature of inner side of the pots because of clay. the bottom of the aviary is made of plaster or dry soil. put the swings and bars and toys in the aviary always so they can give them happiness, also you can put the small speakers outside the aviary and listening them good music they loves to hearing music. music therapy is the best practice for all. different bird needs the different designs of aviary. if they proper set with aviary they can also do mating and breeding in the aviary and give the birth to a baby chicks.
